5 Days Progress - Thursday will be a week
Working with oils gives me a lot more options to add details and get the right colors down with blending, and then having fun with timing painting over spots at different stages of drying (a sticky drying surface is wonderful for adding detail in my style, etc). Really loving oils.

So long hours in this today
Started this today. Been going pretty fast and well, lots of hours into it today. I love painting over the black background. I love scumbling and sliding the paint arounf depending on the viscosity, abd how that changes how the paint interacts on canvas.
Gonna let that one rest
And start in this. I really have orange going right now so I think I’ll continue that trend

It’s been a busy month + with paintings… these are the main 4 I’m trying desperately to finish up so I can move on - I already have a few sketched up ideas for what’s next. It’s just I need to finish these!
